I’m still in FB jail, so I’ll post this here. Haven’t written any music in a while, so it feels good to have found some inspiration lately.
Noah Thomas Anthony Morgan The hammer in his calloused hand Receiver of a vision The days feel longer than the years when driven to exhaustion We need redemption from our past The rain will fall tomorrow In our dreams, we know we’ll never die Strength to carry us forever If a man could live nine hundred years, he would find himself hunched over The rain exploding on his back The tears of unheard voices, underwater His aching body racked with pain from all the weight upon him He sees the distant sky aflame A haunting angel’s calling The hands that form the blackest sky have promised us this water In our dreams, we know we’ll never die Strength to carry us forever If a man could live nine hundred years, he would find himself hunched over The rain exploding on his back The tears of unheard voices, underwater
