I think Trump may have hampered Pence's chances. I'll give Pence credit though. He was loyal to Trump and help secure federal funding for his home state's highway system. I also think he's articulate and comes across as being intelligent. But the whole Corona virus task force was a disaster. I feel Trump's arrogance and his whole anti mask attitude spoiled any chance Pence had to shine. Kind of difficult to look like your trying to help America through the pandemic when everyone in the Whitehouse is Coved positive. Just my 2 pennies.
