I think reptiles are pretty cool, so a Komodo Dragon would be pretty sweet.
What exotic pet would you own, if you could?

We own a Bearded Dragon (lizard). Her name is Spike. Spike got an infection in one of her legs, and it had to be amputated. So we have a 3-legged bearded dragon. Not exactly a Tiger, but still exotic!

Growing up with a dad who was a state herpetologist, I had a lot of reptiles and amphibians as pets. I had all sorts of snakes from natives like Black Rat Snakes to exotic Burmese Pythons. We had Iguana's, various Gecko's, and a bunch of aquatic and terrestrial turtles. At on point I had so many pet snakes, I breed mice in my basement to feed them. My mom somehow always had the worst end of the deal. Once, I had caught a 6 foot Black Rat snake at our river cabin, and we were driving home while I had it stored in a pillow case tied in a knot. It got loose on the 2 hour trip home at some point and crawled up into the floorboards, and stayed up there somewhere for close to a week. She was miserable driving to the work daily not knowing if the snake was still in there behind the dashboard. We found it hungry on a seat 6 days later. Another time a California Kingsnake got out of an aquarium and we couldn't find it anywhere in my house. My mom went to take a shower one evening, and she opened the curtain to find it wrapped around the shower head.
Now a days we just have a dog, cat, hamster and fish. I'll most likely get a snake for the boys soon, but it'll probably just be something we catch locally.

Antlions are cool. Low maintenance and low cost? But on par with watching star wars for (morbid) entertainment. I think if little boys like Cuomo and Newsom had one of these plus a magnifying glass they'd have pretty much everything they ever wanted.

I would have to go with a Marmoset. It is a type of monkey that is extremely tiny, and really cute.

I really like reptiles and own crested geckos right now. If I could own three reptiles I would want a croc monitor, Galapagos tortoise, and boelens python.

Ok, Colorado.... It’s not realistic, but I have to know. How can you make a Komodo Dragon happen?

If you get the right permits I'm pretty sure you can own a komodo dragon. I have heard of a few private keepers owning them but its a lot of hoops to jump through. If anyone on here could do it it would be Chad, I mean he does own a reptile/pet shop.

I'm pretty sure shoebill storks you can't own but you might be able to own other species like saddlebill storks. Cranes are a similar bird and you can own several species of them. Hell Porkchop, just get a couple of attack ostriches to keep intruders out of the pumpkin and mater patch.
