Should we be watering everyday? I have been so far, with the drip system it is easy to do. doeski

our temps have been in the mid to high 80's so I've been watering everyday.

My location is DRY and HOT. I water with a drip system 2 times a day for 30 minute intervals using 5 gal/hr drippers. Before I started doing this I was loosing plants to dehydration. Since I installed a timer, the whole garden is starting to look lush, and the vines are starting to grow more evenly. I don't think this works everywhere, though. In more humid climates, this could be bad. Where I live, 15% humidity is typical. 30% humidity, and people start saying things like, "What is this, the East Coast?" So you may want to water less often in Vermont. Toby

I haven't watered for almost a week. We had a huge rain storm, and the soil is still pretty saturated.
