Is there a diffrence in like a kroger brand Molasses and the co-op Grade A Molasses for farm animals? I have both and was just wondering, I have a 12fl.oz of what is called Blackstrap Molasses(Kroger), heres what it says has in it....

Brer Rabbit Blackstrap Molasses(Kroger)
Sodium - 65mg
Potassium - 800mg
Carohydrate - 13g
sugars - 13g
Protein - 1gm
Calcuium 2% Iron 10% Magnesium 15%

The Grade A feed grade molasses somethimes has minerals added and is about 20 times cheaper than the Brer Rabbit. Notice the Potassium Level. When I was looking for a little more kick in my fish and kelp this is what Drammatic fertilizer recommended for more potassium and bug control.

Linus, you arnt kidding about being cheaper ether, i payed the same thing for 5 gallons of the grade A molasses that I did for the little bottle (12 FL OZ) kroger brand. after the season is over Im going to have 4 gallons left over easy of the grade A, will this stuff store well for a long period of time?

I forgot to add,,,, the grade A molasses was on 11 cents a pound.

OK newbie here, how do you put the molasses on, pour it? How much and why? I would think that would get pretty sticky.

mix 2 TBSP per gallon of warm water...Add to sprayer

Another newbie here, how heavy do you spray each plant and ground. In addition do you mix anything else with it "Fish emulsion" ECT?

OK here is what I mix...That is the great thing about this game.. We all do it different. I Mix 2TBSP Molasses, 2 TBSP Fish and Kelp, 2 TBSP Calcium Nitrate. Throw in 2 gallons of water...Spray three times a week..Until leaves are wet..
