I have been watering by hand twice a day, but as my plants are getting bigger I will be starting to water my plants overhead soon. What time of day is best to water them. Thanks Scott

Persionally I prefer to water early mourning hours before the sun gets too hot, when I do water my plants its only down around the roots i try to avoid watering the leaves. With watering early mourning any extra water has time to dry up.

If you don´t want to get up so early in the morning just to water your plants, use a timer and set it to open your tap around 5.30. My timer was 25$, should be possible to find it cheaper. It will stop according to what you programmed, depending on the watering system you use. Pretty reliable in my opinion.
