Ok I was wondering what kind of fertilizer for giant pumpkins that would be recommended. I've heard about the fish fertilizer or 10-10-10 fertilizer and among others. Which one you prefer

Wondering what spice and how much salt a soup will need...need to try it first and then make a decision. Know what I mean? Soil test first, then see what´s missing, then decide what to add.

Without a soil test, all I'd use would be a balanced 10-10-10 or 20-20-20 etc. If you want 1000+ pounds a soil test will make it way easier though.
