            | ZAPPA | Western PA | How do you all spread a rather small amount of borax, say 26 onces, over a patch the size of 4800 sq. ft ?
The borax is so light that if you try to spread by hand, half of it blows away in the wind. Last year I saw that Ron Wallace puts smaller textured stuff in with his coarser stuff when he is pushing his spreader.
I wonder if that would work with the borax also ??

            | frostbite | I. Falls, Minn | I would like to also know. I need a very small amount. I was planning on dissolving it in water and spraying it. Will this work? | 4/21/2017 11:28:43 AM |

            | Andy W | Western NY | I thoroughly mixed it up with worm castings. Much easier to spread a 5 gallon bucket or two of castings mix (or something similar) that a tiny amount of something.
Best option is probably to dissolve in water and spray it on, I would think there's better ability to get even coverage that way.

            | WiZZy | Little-TON - Colorado | I like to spray water on alfalfa pellets a bit and coat them, then spread the pellets with a chest broadcaster. I have to do the same with my powdered Mn as well. I have coated Rye seeds with Azo's for spreading in the same manner. | 4/21/2017 12:48:42 PM |

            | cojoe | Colorado | I spread boron, copper by mixing it with humic acid granules and kelp meal.Mixed it in a wheel barrel with some water as a sticker. | 4/21/2017 1:02:28 PM |

            | Iowegian | Anamosa, IA [email protected] | I mix it real well with kelp meal and epsom salt. Sometimes add copper and manganese if needed. Spread it with rotary spreader on calm day. Kelp blows around very easily.

            | Jay Yohe | Pittsburgh, PA | Ron W suggested I mix borax with kmag and then spread on patch. | 4/21/2017 2:06:17 PM |

            | So.Cal.Grower | Torrance, Ca. | I've always done what Zappa does. You can spread it evenly across the patch.Warm water, a good amount of stirring then spray.

            | Ron W. | Coventry RI USA | Always mix a small amount in with a big amount. I add kelp meal or K mag to wheel barrel, then add Borax, mix with shovel and add to spreader. | 4/21/2017 5:19:40 PM |

            | cucurmel | Bavaria, Eurafrasia | Just spray foliar fertilizer B with Ca to apply it more precisely with such nozzles: https://www.google.de/search?q=zangendüse&client=tablet-android-samsung&prmd=mivn&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwiLxrCYr8TTAhVGFMAKHWkGD4oQ_AUICigC&biw=1280&bih=800#imgrc=WrRCuBz5wGbFkM: | 4/27/2017 5:54:18 AM |
