looking for mixing rates per 100 gal of water for urea mate. I don't have an injection system but just hope to tank mix and drench. Is that practical...? Should I wait until current new fruit well set after pollination? Thanks

I used this product last year and spent a few hours on the phone with a Stoller Rep. For most crops the label states to mix 5 pounds of product to 100 gallons of water for an area the size of one acre. That works out to about four ounces per five gallons of water. I used this mixture rate for weekly drenches around the plant stump from the first week in the hoops until about the end of May or early June. I then used it as a foilar spray but not until my chosen pumpkin was pollinated and growing. For the first several weeks I foilar sprayed once a week at four ounces per five gallons of water and did normal foilar sprays so when my Sthl Mister which holds four gallons was empty after spraying maybe 3 or 4 plants I would refill and foilar again until all my plants were done. I had seven plants last year. As my pumpkins got larger I would increase the mixture rate from four to five and then six ounces per five gallons of water once a week and then one or two other days during the same week I would cut the mix rate in half two or three ounces per five gallons and spray again until my weighoff. Watch your leaves and if they stay fairly healthy you are okay if they turn real brittle and start to lose color back off your frequent sprays. This product is loaded with micro nutrients 100 times more then any similar product one of the reasons why I used it last year and again this year Goodluck!
