When using the whizzer sprinkler or any sprinkler, how do you determine how much water you are putting on your plant?
Thank you, Mark G.

you can buy a fairly cheap inline water meter and it will tell you how many gallons you are using

I fill my tank to the desired level or gallons and that shows me how many gallons .. An inline rotary unit is cheap and will shut off water once the gallons you choose is met... No math required..

Flip it over and run it in a 5 gallon bucket and do the math. Tuna can might be a little small :)

Yep Cojoe is right. Put the Sprinkler in a 5 gal bucket. timer in hand, turn on the water w/ the other and see how long it takes to fill the bucket.

With the tuna can method, you can set several in your garden to see if some areas are getting too much water and other areas not enough. You aren't measuring gallons but inches of water, just like rain.
