hi growers hope all is well I have been researching water filters to attached to my garden hose to rid of chlorine looking for a good quality carbon ? but some thing that will not completely break the bank .looking on line there is several types thanks trac

I used this filter for one year. Then my son hit it with a baseball and it exploded! That was a fun day. Anyway, I don't know how effective it is but it did allow for watering at a reasonable pressure. It can also be reversed and reused. My suggestion is to first confirm that you have chlorine in the water and not chloramine. I realized after a year that my water has chloramine which is more difficult to remove. I don't believe this filter removes chloramine. Good Luck.

an easier way to remove clorine from city water is to store it, open to the air, for 24-48 hours. this also allows it to warm to ambient temperature. a 275 gal IBC tote can be had for pretty cheap. connect to a pump and water as needed.

most municipalities have been switching to chloramine which will not gas off, i have used filters in the past but the would clog up in no time. check if your town uses chlorine or chloramine if chlorine then yes try to sore it and let it gas-off.

What about a carbon house filter....I have been using one of these for years.. I change the filter once a season. Don't know if it helps but I have been using and will continue to use... I figure what kin wouldn't like filtered water... Lol

Hi Tim talked with a guy that knows his stuff on carbon filters he recommends the boggy blue good for 30.000 gallons . or clean water fun carbon filter both attaché to a garden hose both are carbon filters you will want carbon filter only you will find them on the web
