so what is it im missing? having never used it, and I know a lot do, what is there to it? rather than standard chemical NPK ferts Mark.

trace elements possibly, maybe there should be a study carried out on the nutritional benefits to plants of various fish species.

Fish emulsion and fish hydro slate are 2 different types available. Also ocean fish are different than fresh water ... Things to look at and consider. Also there are also some squid based blends as well.

For me awesome it's for the beer I drink! Beer you ask? This is how it works. In early spring I dig 2-300 holes in my garden with my ice auger, with a post hole attachment on it. Then I go down to my local river away from the kids , wife, work. With a bunch of buddies, BEER, and nets we proceed on catching fish called suckers, that swim up river to spawn. It is a rough fish like a carp so there are no limit on them. Then we proceed to enjoy the beers and catch some fish. When all this is completed we bring the fish to my garden and fill those holes up with the fish and bury the fish back up. Free fertilizer and great Beer! How could I go wrong?
