I just purchased 2 250 water tanks that had honey in them any ideas on what would be safe to use to clean them out? thanks in advance for any advice!

I've used dawn dish soap and water, let it soak....same stuff we use on plants as mild pest control, so even if you left a residue...no problem....but still rinse until no bubbles form

Honey is naturally antibacterial/antifungal, so you don't have to worry about sterilizing it.
Hot water and soap should do the trick to clean it.

Oxyclean works well, but I'm with VT Steve on this one. Shouldn't be too hard to rinse them and maybe a bit of dish soap or Dr. Bronners. Honey is just about the best thing you could have had in there.

i used 4 300 gal tanks that had a laquer in them and just washed them out with cold water, I had no issues with them
