Does using drip tape make it hard to bury vines? I have read that you need to be very careful not to cause the tape to clog. Does it become a problem to bury the vines?

It's definitely more work to bury vines. Absolutely yes.

I've always run the drip tape parallel to the vines. Never a problem and weeding is easier if the drip tape and vines run the same direction
