Do you continue using fish after pollination? extreme pumpkin store's fertilizer program uses it through out the season, hollandsgiant's fert program stops using it after the first month, whats best? I usually just keep using it until I read books say not to keep using it.

One of the fertilizing program suggests it the other stops suggesting it after the first month. I have always used it all season.

We only use fish while the plants are inside the protective area of the hoophouse...after the hoophouse comes down..we stop using fish.
Main reason is because of skunks and racoons...but secondary reason is that one of my awesome mentors told me to stop with the fish July 1st.

fish ferts have good nitrogen levels. nitrogen isn't needed much after the plant fills its space. Potassium and calcium are more important for fruit development.
