Hi all, I pollinated a female this morning and I am a little concerned the way the lobes were set up in the flower. They were not set up nice and picture perfect. They had a slight jostled look to them. There was also, what I will call a strand which was a tiny part of another half lobe. Is it likely that I would get a mishapened fruit that might have a better chance of splitting due to the lobes growing in strange directions? Or is this no big deal? Thank youu

its a crap shoot for sure. growers have had good and bad luck growing pumpkins with deformed lobes. if you have others a bit farter down the main that prove to have better segments? id go for one of them. if not? roll the dice. pap
