I have a plant in one week and growing a bit slow looks like she needs some food should I wait till she gets a bit bigger?

Hey John, I am fertilizing with liquid seaweed and fish once a week in the soil only. I do this all season and I start follar feeding may plants when they are about 2 feet long, Once a week also. Hope this helps you out.

pumpkins also like warm soil and air temperatures. if the soil is cold all the ferts in the world won't make it grow. if the soil has warmed up to room temperature, then nitrogen is what will give you vine growth. excess nitrogen will make the vine tips grow straight up and make them prone to wind damage.
