When you are confident that pollination has occured how soon do you return to your fertilizing schedule.Does everyone here stop fertilizing during fruit set?In the "How to grow" book the feeding schedule does not show a pause in fertilizing.

The AGRO-K Pumpkin feeding program moves into blossom set feeding 9-18-9 plus other Natural Products support. After fruit set it moves into 10-8-8 for six weeks. Finally into 2-12-12 for the finish. Calciums of two different types are used clear up to two weeks before harvest as are other supports within their program. These are liquids fed, in my case, through the misting system. The pattern is however worthy of observation for any type of feeding.
...In all methods slow and easy is the goal many favor. We try to avoid growth spurts by even light feeding and consistant watering. This is my personal difficult area. I seem to want to over do it on feeding. My helpers are constantly wanting me to lighten up on the feeding. I think the advise is sound. Easy does it!
You may not find the same exact numbers. Just observe the pattern and mimic it as best you can....if it makes sense to you. I use only Liquid Natural Products for feeding.

I'm doing something a little differant and start feeding with a high K fertiliser from just before the females start forming 3 weeks before pollination. My reason behind it is to try and get a high quality flower then maybe better shape/colour/wall thickness later on.Can't say if it works till October no problem with aborts though.
