hi all I just got my soil test back but I need some help to convert the numbers to ppm , soil labs says that results are in mg/100gr ( 100 gr being the soil) anyone know how to convert his? and yes Amelio even your help would be appreciated thanks

Are you sure the results are not in mg/1000g? 1 mg per 1000g is 1 ppm. 77 ppm P sounds reasonable but if it is mg/100g it would be 770 ppm which is not likely.

ppm (part per million), is like %, you have to compare same things, weight to weight, volume to volume etc. The advice to multiply by 10 is right.
The labs we have here are giving results in mg/L, and then the conversion should take into account the density of the soil. For mineral soils 1:1 can be used so, ppm is the same as mg/l to get to the ballpark. But that is a different subject.
I,m not confusing you more, the lab's advice is right. Your P seems to be extremely high...but I'm no expert.
