My plants are about a foot tall now and I was wondering when I should spray them and if there is something for both bugs and fungus? Any advice would be appreciated. I live in Iowa.

Otis, what ever you spray, go very light, th plants are still young. Spray at half strenght if you have to spray a fungicide or insecticide.

I recommend sprinkling some garlic powder around the plants right now to repel cucumber beetles. They are already here in Anamosa. A good program of garlic, contact insecticides and syustemic insecticide like Merit is needed for most of the growing season. You need separate products for fungus problems.
