This is my first time growing a pumpkin. I would like to grow a big one. I started my pumpkin from seed, planted it in the garden, it seems to be thriving and getting bigger, now what?

Try to find someone in your area to help you out your frist year . You can read everything to grow a pumpkin , but to see someone doing things is worth gold . good luck to you !!

Hi start a grower diary and put some pics in there so we can see what you might be up against.

read read read. Just about everything you need to know can be found here. Last year was my first year but there are no growers near me so I had to rely on the good people here. Do some research, invest in a 'how to grow giant pumpkins' book and ask questions. Oh and post lots of pics! Thats what I did and ended up with a 740 pounder. Welcome to BigPumpkins and good luck :)
