My drip tape emits .4 gal/min per 100 ft of tape with 12 inches between emitters. How long should I let it run at a time? I had it on for about 45 min but the water spots along the tape did not meet, in other words there were dry spots between each emitter?

Titanic- My suggestion is to dig down in the soil and see if the water spots meet. I have my drip tapes spaced every 18” and this seems to work out just fine for my soil. If your soil is very sandy you may need to have less spacing and if you are on clay you could increase the spacing but I use 18” as the ‘best fit’ for typical giant pumpkin prepared soils. Also, I run my lines for about 30min each, which again works out for me/my soil. Soils can be very variable so use this as a guide and make adjustments to fit your conditions.
