Hey everyone. I am trying to figure out what fertilizers to use for next year. If you guys/gals wouldn't mind posting what you use that would be great...suggestions appreciated.

This is the way I see: Prior to plant: second adition of (first was in october) loads of sheep/caw manure, potassium sulfate, gypsum, dolomite. Then osmocote, 12-12-16 (if I find it, calcium nitrate) and soil polymer gel.
Through the season: soluble fertilizers with fertirrigation
- May (growing): 18-12-12
- June (Blossom): 14-28-16
- July-september(fatting): 14-10-27
- Kelp and tea compost weekly all through the season
The advice: to order a soil analysis first of all.

A lot of cow manure,a little MAP and like Don 14-10-27 as a liquid feed.

I just started to grow A-G's again and a friend of mine hooked me up with a sheep man, this guy brings me a truck load of 2 or 3 year old composted sheep manure that can be tilled in in the spring without the worry of it being to wet and haveing to put it on in the fall all though a winter green crop is still a good Idea.
when the plants are just starting out I use 20-20-20 and fish emultion and some H-A-E for root growth ( don't put it all on in one day spread it out over a few days.) then I switch to 10-52-10 as the blossoms start to come on and fish emultion.
After the fruit is set I like to change to a high potasium firt and fish emultion.
You will have to figure out how much yourself, a good rule of thumb is to start out lite and add from there, watch your plant's they will tell you if you went overboard or if it was too little and then there is Lady luck and the other lady, Mother nature you definately need bolth of these sweetheart's on your side.

We've grown pumpkins for years, but this will also be our first year with AG's. The old patch took last year off & grew nothing. It has been expanded by 25' to allow room for AGs. The new area is markedly different from the old with 13.8% OM (good) & a Ph of 4.8 (very bad). Both areas have been soil tested seperately & treated individually until they "even out" a bit.

Soil tests are done. The fertility plan is in.
Manures (cow & horse), compost, & leaves are in. So is high calcium lime.

Late March: Suphate of Potash Magnesia & aerobically composted, bagged poultry poop will go in with the final spring till. 1.5lbs/K
Mid April: Another soil test.
April pre-plant: 16-24-11 63% CSRN at about 2.5Lbs P/1000.
May: Urea or Ammonium nitrate side dress temp pending.3/4#N
June: 20-20-20 soluble early then 16-32-16 soluble.
July: 16-32-16 & Calcium nitrate as needed.
August: 0-0-50SOP & 0-0-62MOP blended 66:33 20-20-20 & calcium as needed. Probably 1 #/K
Sept: Bolster, Calcium, 20-20-20 & SOP as needed.
Bolster is a commercial (non retail) SeaKelp/Humic Acid compound that also delivers a micronutrient package. I expect to add Bolster to all of the soluble fert app's.

I still haven't fine tuned the rates & timing of the gibberelin/auxin cocktail, but I will before the season starts. If nothing else, I will at least soak the seeds in the gibberelins.
