Hope you guys and girls can help...Can you still feed before/during/after rain as at the moment here in the uk its raining lots..

Does anybody know how quick the plant takes up the feed once applied??

Obviously during the rain most will be washed off, is there a time slot before it rains that you can apply a foliar feed?

Its just I want to keep to my schedule of feeding the best I can but with the the rain its hard.

Mank Thanks

Stephen

Rain Whats that? I have heard that water falls from the sky, but here in colorado its been real dry lately.

I have found that when the leaves are already wet that itjust seems to run off more, but thats just my thought.

Well as its summer here The same as last year..very near a months worth in 24 hrs. Just think its a waste to do it when it saturated..Is there a limit the leaves will take in?

The leaves can on take in a small percentage of the nutrients. Spraying fertilizer in the rain just means it will end up on the ground. Now a pesticide in the rain is not a smart idea.

The N will absord in a day and the P-K in 2. Looks like you're stuck with the extra work of spraying the underside of your leaves or investing in beach umbrellas.

Personally, if I were in your shoes, when I root feed, I would try adding some type of liquid humic acid and possibly liquid fulvic acid too. They both help plant roots absord nutrients better and kelp goes without saying. Because spraying the undersides of AG leaves can be quite a chore as the plant get bigger.
