the leaves on one of my plants are getting more and more yellow every day. I think it needs nitrogen bad but I have a pumpkin on the plant that's 3 days old. What should i do ?

As said above --to much water--not a enough feed --boron diff--or nitro diff--ph to high or to low --im guessing needs nitro and general food---wound need to see and know feeding history --it be a cold wet year so far --nutrition wash out --I think

It looks like a nutrient deficiency, Usually the older leaves show the deficiency (like in your picture) The plant has to sacrifice the older leaves in order to push out new growth. I would fertilize. It looks very, very wet where you are too, the plant looks water logged. (not enough air in the soil)

I put some nitrogen 2 days ago and also have been applying more fish and seaweed. The plant is starting to look a little better.

Waterlogged soils are very likely to be N deficient. Not because they leach but rather because bacteria turn anaerobic & use Nitrogen to make oxygen to stay alive.
You can try opening the soil with a fork & refrain from irrigating. Once the soil dries a bit you can try to replenish the N.

I would plan to raise that garden next year while adding lots of well aged compost/manure mix.
