Just got a soil anaylsis back so I can think about next year.
pH = 6.9
P, K, Mg, Ca were high but not exessive they said

organic matter (manure?) was 5.7% is this good or bad?

Al = 10, Ir = 2, Mn = 21, Zn = 10.2, NO3 = 43 all were # per acre

salts (K x 100000) was 31

They recommended # of 10-6-4 per 100 sq ft of garden.

Does this seem normal to everyone else, and what else should I be doing for next year? Thanks for any advice you guys can give me.

Steeleydave If you are tilling in lots of mixed leaves this fall (a couple feet of leaves) adding manure and planting a winter rye cover crop you should look real good next spring. That's just my opinion. As the organic matter increases everything becomes a little less important. Build your organics but do not give up on chemicals if you are reaching out for the really huge fruit levels. I personally would test again next spring. One thing I do not hear about much is a question. What is the PH of your water source?

thats a good point..i watered with lake water mostly,also collected rain early on..no ground water what so ever.rain must be acidic in the norteast,no idea about the lake water.
