If we have pumpkins on the plant that are four weeks along, should we still be spraying the Neptunes fish and Kelp? How many more weeks will the pumpkins grow? Other than the fungicide and bug spray, that is the only thing we have been using. (Safer insect spray due to aphids & fungicide cause of all the worry about the soils, PM and all). Do we need to do anything else other than pick off all the flowers that are almost out-numbering the aphids? Thanks,
Puter

your pumpkin will grow as long as they have food unless you have frost or bugs or diease--daily feed in small amounts with your fish and kelp will help --they are just like you need to eat daily--stop the feed they will stop growing and mature --craig

So, I should be spraying every day at 1/7 of an oz per gallon of water? Or is it better to soil drench and spray every day? These plants are just now starting to grow rapidly (can hardly keep up with the pruning and pinching) and I think it has alot to do with the once a week spraying of Neptunes. If the plant is growing more, doesn't it take away from the potential pumpkin growth? Thanks, Puter
