OK pumpkin savants, I went to OSH yesterday to find some high potassium fert. (That's what I should be using this time of year, right?) But, they had NONE that was higher in potassium than nitrogen. I believe that I have already used too much nitrogen in the form of manure, and that is why I don't have very many females (3 total to date). Do you think that this is true? Where does a person get fert that is NOT high in nitrogen? Thanks in advance!

Patience,,I used bloom buster early on a plant..It was kicking with females....Try Lowes......

Schultz makes a 5-10-40 combination I think is perfect for this time of year. It may be called Tomato Food or something but it comes in a red box and is very inexpensive. Good luck.

Patience,,super bloom buster will help you get more females...Lowes does carry,,I think it will be made by peters...

I like the 5-10-40 from Enp mentioned a few posts ago. It comes in bulk and I go through about 25 lbs of the stuff in August.
