Keith,
Make sure it is "unsulfonated". Sulfur is sometimes added to kitchen grade molasses to prevent spoilage. We WANT the bacteria to flourish so preservatives are bad. Any feed grade molasses from a farm supply place should be fine. Cheaper than kitchen grade stuff too.
