I have seen it posted on here that worms are good to have in the patch. Any specific kind of worms? There are worm farmers that sell bunches of worms for people to resale for fishing bait. A person could get a lot of worms for cheap and throw them in the patch, would that be a good idea?

Colorado worms.....Them Canadian night crawlers are good to, but there tired from the trip..... Red wigglers wont last in CO, ground freezes, if you have good quanities of food in the soil they come, stay, and reproduce fast, if not enough food, they wont stay....Coffee grounds have been real good for me....alfalfa meal, kelp meal, molasses....feed the bugs that the worms love to eat.....

I would go with local worms since they are most likely to survive your environment.

Go with the local worms....if you run out of food for them they'll know where to call for take-out.

build your soil, the worms will relocate naturally.

LOL G.
Earthworms are gay. Well not really gay. They're monoecious (or mermophrodites) meaning they have both female and male reproductive organs.
Feed the native leaves, corn meal, coffee grounds, etc. & they will come. Pun NOT intended.
