Novato, If by installments, you mean additions to the soil...I would think that a soil analysis is the first step. Hoping that I understood properly, that this helps. Peace, Wayne

Are they rotting right after pollination? If so, maybe the weather is just too warm for the pollinations to take. They pumpkins would certainly die and rot if this is the case. KathyT
