Loaded question here! The answer is...as much as you need too.

Any possibility that you can offer some details in regard to your specific growing environment?

Your patch requirements will fall somewhere between nothing to alot.

I know little in this regard but more clues about your particular "grow" will result in more expert opinions and solid advice.

Probably most important is....what is your "in the ground date" and what do you have right now....for example, vines only; set fruit; size of set fruit....

Offer as much info as you have time to bang the keyboard.
