I have done the site search and found a couple of older posts on using this for drench and foliar apps. I guess I'm wondering if anyone has new thoughts on this.
My questions are based on using 15.5-0-0 Greenhouse grade soluable product.
I have cold spring soils here, would using this as a early fert help kick in the plants? If so what would recommended mixes be for drench and foliar on young plants (if at all).
How often can this be used during the season and the timing of use in the plant cycle?
I'm going through some cold cloudy weather the next week or so and know that the plants will be struggling for some help. Any and all ideas will be appreciated.

Dan we use it as a foliar. 2 TBS per Gallon combined with the Drammatic Fish and Kelp, and Molasses. The fertilizer guy says this should give you a pretty balanced spray.

Calcium Nitrate is also very effective for increasing the PH
quickly. 1 50lb bag = equivalent of 500lbs lime

In order for nitrogen to move into the plants, the soil must reach a certain temperature. AG's grow best with soil temps above 65°. They grow like "gangbusters" when it's 80°!

I understand the soil temp thing, my question relates to tne nitrogen presented with this product. Seems I have read that applying it in some form allows the plant early requirements of N before soil warming occurs and the N present from manure/compost and other organic materials is available.
Once again my concern lies in the fact that we are having cold temps(30's nitetime and 40's for highs) and cloudy skys for at least 6 days running I think the seedlings could use a boost at this point. They went in the hoops last Sunday so they haven't had a chance to really establish. I'm running heaters with fans so damp off is hopefully held in check,,but still worried about other affects that no sun can have over this critical time.
