Ga.

Done some tilling this morning,,,never hit a moist spot...Our water table is really low,,,no moisture at 10-12 inches deep.....Looks like lots of water hoses this year......Suppose to be 96 today,,,,no rain in sight!

Do you live in Cairo Georgia or Cairo Egypt? We've had rain the last couple of days with highs in the 80's. Been perfect pumpkin growin' weather so far. If it stayed like this all year there would be a picture of me on the homepage of BigPumpkins.com;)

Hehe,,,Extreme south Ga.....Many more days like this,,and I aint gonna be able to beat farmer toms 20#'er!!!My vines are wilting baddddd,.....Having to go mist by hand to revive them...I really think it's gotton to hot to set here.....Wish me luck!!

i believe it was 30 lbs. it's been great weather here lately, but there's still a small rain defficit. just 6 weeks ago we were 13" below average rainfall though.

You send some of your heat up here and I'll see what I can do about sending you some rain.

I dug into my manuer pile this weekend and found it is still frozen in the middle. Mean while, we recieved only a 1/4 inch of rain yesterday and now there is water sitting everywhere.
