I'll guess this is what we're talking about?

Guano & worm casting...0-7-0...looks like nice stuff if a Phosphorus shortage is encountered. However even the most soluble source of P (diammonium phosphate) is still very slow to react & release. So I would see this as a longterm benefit & not a rescue type material.

Has the soil been tested & come back low in P?

I'm having the soil tested and will hopefully have the results within the next few weeks. The soil in my area is a sandy loam and drains/leaches very quickly. I've been attempting to increase the organic content by adding compost and manure to the soil, but was thinking that I may need to add some additional fertilizers. Any suggestions?
