Ok if your soil tests showed that your Magnesium was Very Low, How would you apply it?

Sprinkle it around patch and water in?

Drench the plant with an epsom/water mixture ?

How Often? and when? ( like how will the plants show that they need it?

Currently my plants are growing Fast on average of 6-8 " per day, the plants all have large healthy green leaves
lots of males and not many females. I havent added anything but water in the past month

Epsom salts will help relieve short term deficiencies. Apply 1 tsp/ Litre of water. Long term a really good product is Kmag or SulPoMag, also called sulfate of potash magnesia. The analysis is 0-0-21K-11mg-21Sul. It is a granular fertilizer and is available at some farm centres. I have been using it for the past two years on my low mg soils and have brought up the mg considerably. Depending on your level 10 lbs/ 1000 ft2 wouldn’t be out of the question. I would apply it in the fall or early spring and work it in.
