Sprayed plants the other day with chelated calcium,now today noticed allot of my leaves have white blotches and even some brownish look to them.Like they have been bleached. Could this be because of too strong a dose of calcium. Also the weather turned hot all of sudden.

Could be...what was the analysis & the rate used? Also, what was the temperature during & after the spray?

Most brands fall around 5-0-0 to 9-0-0. Caution is advised when appling foliar ferts during hot days with bright sunshine. I like to apply on cloudy days or in the late evening with just enough time for the leaves to dry before sunset. very early morning applications work well too.

Funny I use it all season in average temps around 100+ during the hottest part of the day (we apply through our misters) and we have not seen any scorching.
