I have been on the lookout for some tall and strong sun flowers that can brave the winds up here a top of this hill. I have seen a few random pictures of free standing ones scrolling through as I get my daily dose of big kins that look super cool. Here is the real truth my four year old daughter is growing up way to fast for me. She could careless about the pumpkins, however she seems to have genuine excitement to grow a big flower. I am the kind of Dad that will be there every second to help make dreams come true. So I will be growing a Sunflower. If this ends up being a heirloom deal I think it would mean so much more to start with a seed someone is proud of. I feel it adds a a lot more to the story. That is my situation if you think you could hook us up with some strong seeds that would be incredible. I would obviously seed a selfie bubble, and what ever you need to make it worth parting with you stash. I have a few seeds we can trade, cash, whatever works.

Thank you for your consideration.
Imagine being five years old and staring straight up at a sixteen foot flower against a blue New York sky, mid August?
What dreams may come? Have a great day.

Giant sunflowers are actually what got me started in '98 with giant pumpkins - They were towering at about 9-10 feet above a garden .3 miles from my house and I got the Grand Tour when I went back by to see them in person;
Amidst the stalks were some 110-150-pound AGs and that was IT!
Good Luck---Eric G

Sunflowers are great! I have seeds available from last season's 14.5 footer if you're interested. http://www.bigpumpkins.com/Diary/DiaryViewOne.asp?eid=327390

You can always drive stakes into the ground and support the stalk. I use 10 ft bamboo stakes.

I received your email, and I returned a description of my sunflower fertilizing routine. Big things are in works for 2022! Much luck and fun to you this season!
