Hate to be first to ask but what is the status of the seed exchange. I realize it’s a huge task but it’s like getting your best Christmas present late.

I will send it out this week. Tired of waiting on the same 5 packages to get here. If they don't arrive by tommorow, they aren't in. Like you I was expecting them to arrive sooner.

My package got lost in the mail. Not enough seeds left to give to club members and the seed exchange. I apologize.

Hope I didn’t sound pushy. They have a long time before they go in the ground. I just love getting that package and looking through everything. Thank you for stepping up and organizing it.

I agree with the last 2 posts. Really looking forward to the arrival of the package. However, it would be bummer to leave out the other 5 people because of postal issues. I have sent out many packages of seeds this year and some those packages have had an amazing journey!

Thanks Leif! Just received my package. This is my first year participating and had very high expectations because of all of the comments posted. Well..... I couldn’t be more thrilled. Someone had mentioned that this is like Christmas Day for grownups. I 100% agree. I’m having a blast just searching images of all the different plant seeds. My wife is insisting that I grow the glass gem corn. Can’t wait for spring!

Mine arrived yesterday. Fantastic selection and some really great seeds. Just did a quick check but know there are at least 3 HDAW in the pack. Can’t wait to grow some of the unique seeds also. Thanks for your work and thank you growers for your generosity.

Got mine yesterday as well, HOLY COW! Thank you everyone for the seeds, and thanks for putting this all together Leif! My wife and I were going thru all the seeds and she asked what an Easter egg plant was, told her I figured it was a mystery seed, plant it and see what comes up, like opening an Easter egg. Nope! Can anyone clarify what the seed is that was labeled 'canadian 3.0'? Or maybe I'll just plant it and see what comes up!

Pictures of the Eater egg plant are now up in my diary. Some of the eggs get as big as a real chicken egg. You could put them in an egg carton when they are white and fool anybody. Forgot to tell you in my post, they have very sharp thorns all over the plant

Round of applause to everyone who donated seed and to Leif for coordinating this project!!! The only downside to all of this is the realization that I don't have enough space and beds for all of the seeds that I like.

The hairy balls milkweed really are a Monarch butterfly magnet. My plants drew tons of caterpillars which turned into butterflies. I probably had 60-70 chrysallises in an area that had 6 mature plants.

Brandon, how long are the dipper gourds? Steve, how tasty and productive are the Thorburn's Terracotta Tomatoes?

Branden, I would start the Hairy Balls Milkweed in early March. They germinate readily. However, they are a mid to late season bloomer and if you want to develop the hairy ball seed pod, an early start is advisable. These plants are not hardy in cold weather climates. They can easily grow 4-6 ft. in ht. in one season.

Are there any of these seeds I should be starting now? I’m in zone 6. I’m stuck at home with covid for the next two weeks and need something to do. Luckily I don’t have symptoms and my lady’s are very mild.

To Dibble and everyone stuck inside with lots of new seeds...I found the pdf from True Leaf Market a nice reference and an enjoyable read to get ready for spring.
