OK....I'm a newbie. I've read all the posts, books, and printed a notebook full of tips for growing a giant pumpkin. My first attempt this spring was a flop. The seeds would not germinate. I'm not giving up. Does anyone have seeds to sell to a first-timer?

To germinate the seeds I use seed starting mix. The mix should be moist but not wet. You shouldn't be able to squeeze water out of it. I plant mine flat about as deep as the seed is long. The mix temperature should be between 80 and 90. mine will be pushing up the soil in 3 to 4 days. I have free seeds, email me.
