The subject of tested seeds came up on another subject board. For us newer growers with a small budget, I have been saving most of my seeds, many coming from pumpkins that had came from plants with an issue or two. Of them I haven't done that well. I would be interested in acquiring some tested clear seeds. I will be looking into testing some of mine to see where they stand. I think this is an important subject and I suspect if we don't check it out we could see more problems and discouraged growers. Thanks Big City for bringing this subject up. Email: dbr777vet@att.net

All of the plant tissue I sent in tested positive.. No seeds will be kept.. I even had a plant not showing signs of mosaic that had it... So all will be fed to the pigs.

I suspect we'd find many nice producers testing positive if we were to test all seeds. Hope we can clean this up before it is uncontrollable.
