My grandson Avery 6 years old, got his seed for Arkansas 4H giant pumpkin contest today. about two dozen seed separated in two packs. no history on seed just know they are AG. We picked the best 6 from each pack sanded and started the soak.I explained to him about vigor and how it is our only option to select after picking the best seed. hopefully he can pick out his best two and transplant next week.
