Got my soil test's results back yesterday. Everything is a lot better then I expected especially considering a new patch, boron low (1.0) and calcium as well (1847) otherwise all is good. I'll be adding ~130 pounds of gypsum when I'm back and using fish emulsion and seaweed extract as a foliar for the boron defecincy. Now on another topic, I was thinking about ways to, during the cell division phase (days 2-20) to speed it up so there are more cells to then enlarge in the cell expansion phase witch should result in a bigger pumpkin. I thought of what I called "sprouted seed tea" let a whole bunch of seeds sprout and mash then into a paste that will be strained and diluted then use in foliar applications every week during the cell division phase. The sprouted seeds release lots of cytokinins and auxins wich Speed cell division. I am not sure if it's been tested but it's worth a try. Who else has tried similar things?
