Ok you pumpkin people. Looks like my wife will easily break her PB if things continue. We are currently in first place in the secret 65sq foot challenge. It's amazing what happens when you pay a bit of attention to the pumpkin and don't just let it grow across the grass. :)) It was a fantastic decision to grow it in last year's tomato patch I built on the other side of the house. The tomatoes didn't get enough sun here but the pumpkin loves it. In the heat of the afternoon it hasn't wilted once, No need for shade cloth.
