3 days on the new plywood bed and there is pretty decent pumpkin growth. At this point, the plant is 20 feet long and 30 feet wide and with 5 secondaries on each side still growing well, we should be able to fill its allotment. The 839 plant is also ripping along nicely and is 15 feet long and 30 feet wide so with some creative vine management, I'll also be able to fill its 30 X 30 allotment also. We like to be fully terminated with our plants by the end of July and with this years earlier start, larger hoophouses and extended great weather it won't be a challenge to accomplish that this season.
