Well, for about 25 minutes last night all heck broke loose in the pumpkin patch. Luckily, the pumpkin was snug as a bug in a rug and suffered no issues from the 1" hail we received. But I'm not so sure about round #2 tonight because the pumpkin has outgrown the laundry basket protection method and looks poised for a period of significant growth today as temps will hit 84 degrees. Tonight I'll probably use plywood and some concrete blocks to secure it in place.
