606 lbs by OTT – Setting out fans on stems of biggest kins and an extra on the flower end of this on. Bad News – the main stem of the 1613 is rotting – didn’t realize it grew out under the soaker system with too many big leaves to make the view obvious – also the leaves shaded the stem. Cut away the leaves and put out a fan – likely too late. The rest of the vine looks fine and probably has 500 roots at buried nodes supplying the fruit. Daily growth has slowed, however, to about half – maybe it’s just lack of rain and the soaker system is only doing about 30% of the vine surrounding the main. Rain predicted soon. Hit it with another round of Heritage, Merit and 15 tbsp of Jack’s 20-20-20
