‘Red Warty Thing’ also a C. maxima. I don’t know if this photo has been doctored. It’s certainly very red in comparison to the field pumpkins in the background.
...Another potential source of AG pumpkin warts?! Or maybe it’s a spontaneous mutation.
Is it heritable?? Is it a heritable susceptibility to some other causative agent like a virus?
