All in all it was a great day and a nice crowd showed up to witness the event. There were some big pumpkins exhibited and the venue is perfect for a weigh off. I nudged out dyberry andy in the field pumpkin for an 86 lb Pb for me. Dyberry’s 119.5 long gourd was just enough for a win over Jim’s 119. Wow. And I nudged Paul Fulk by .03 ounce with my 3.53 tomato win. You have to make the best out of what you are dealt with. It was good to see some old friends again and will have to wait another year to try and grow a monster pumpkin.
