Wonderful story number 3. In honor of Mike Strange’s passion for growing pumpkins Bart Toftness donated money to the VT club to give a monetary award to the 21st grower. Our weigh off pays down to 20 spots and Bart wanted to see a 21st place award in Mike’s name to motivate the grower to continue on in the hobby enthusiastically. As luck would have it we actually had a tie for the 21st place with Jenna Baird (pictured) and Ralph Bell. The club felt that it was important to honor this donation and matched it so that we could give the award to both growers.
